Knight-Tyme™

Curtis Knight-Tyme is the newest player in the R&B game. His smooth tunes are fast seducing listeners as his fan base continues to grow. His new single “Look so good” available on iTunes is receiving amazing feedback from his strong American and Australian following. 2011 sees Knight-Tyme performing and recording new works, and taking his success so far to a whole other level.
Knight Tyme grew up with the best of both worlds. Having moved from Australia to Vegas when he was 11, music has always been an important aspect of his life. This mix of culture is what gives Knight-Tyme’s tunes their special uniqueness. He credits his father, Ron Knight a successful singer and musician for showing him the entertainment ropes and inspiring him to create his own sound.
Micheal Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Doug Williams were Curtis’s biggest inspirations as a kid. His hunger to entertain grew from a young age as he listened to his idols perform. He lists Usher and Outkast as his idols today. You can hear their influences in his music, yet Knight-Tyme mixes his own flavor in. His tunes are the kind you want playing at the end of the night in the club. His seductive lyrics and laidback R&B sound can almost guarantee you will take someone sexy home.
Performing under his alter ego Knight-Tyme, Curtis Knight was once a part of dance crew “Mixed Up”. He names the performance they gave at the Urban Fashion Awards in 2003 at the Thomas and Mack Centre in Las Vegas as one of his career highlights. He also choreographed for school assemblies and other performances for the group.
Curtis attended Acting Connections Performing Arts from 2001-2004, and was a model and a music coordinator for the music and fashion expo from 2004 to 2009. Curtis also was the host of the Desert Toyota Promotion in 2007. His experience in a variety of fields has given him the confidence to move his career even further.
Focusing on his music in 2011, Knight-Tyme has teamed up with Australian DJ, DJ Maxx, producing the hits “Look So Good” and “Temptation”. The two have produced an addictive sound that the ladies are flocking to and the fellas are using as bait.
Underestimating this artist would be a mistake, Knight-Tyme is set to rise in success in coming years as his resume covers acting, singing, producing and dancing.
Watch this space. Knight-Tyme is ready for domination.
